REV. CONNIE CAMPBELL-PEARSON

Connie became very interested in Creation Care in 2017 when she attended a conference sponsored by the Center for Large Landscapes at Flathead Lake Lutheran Camp.

She was introduced to the encyclical of Pope Francis, Laudato Si. Since then, she has been the organizer and administrator of the Faith, Science and Climate Action conference that was held in Bozeman in 2018 and 2020.

The Montana Interfaith Power and Light (MT IPL) affiliate was established in 2020 and works closely with the national Interfaith Power and Light.

She is the Secretary/Treasurer for MT IPL and is currently working with congregations and fellowships of all denominations in Montana as we seek to lower our carbon footprint and educate people of faith about advocacy for the climate.
